To ensure minimal disruptions during load shedding, the Academy is fully equipped with a back-up generator that automatically switches on should the power go off. This enables the Academy to function off the power grid, ensuring that not only the lights remain on but all electronics, including the Computer Centres, projectors, air conditioning etc.

In cases of municipal water outages, high-pressured borehole water is provided throughout the Academy, allowing a consistent supply of safe and clean water, especially to the bathroom facilities in order to maintain Health and Safety Standards.
